Bright fruit on the nose automatically makes my mouth water as I anticipate the first sip. Initially, notes of cherries and raspberries dominate the palate – and generally this is where a cheaper Pinot would start and finish. However, the Paringa Estate continues with a luscious mouthfeel and superbly soft tannins that give this wine body and oomph. The length is divine as the wine develops more savoury and spice characteristics that linger well after you’d expect.
